It’s Pixabay. Although it is primarily known as a source of free images, Pixabay website also has sections with free music and sound effects (SFX). Most of the available MP3 audio files aren’t meant to be exclusively ringtones and notification sounds per se, but you can download and use them on your phone or other device completely free of charge and copyright-free (if you don’t redistribute).
Since the MP3s aren’t produced by famous artists everybody knows, there’s a great chance your downloaded audio file will act as a pretty much unique ringtone or notification sound.
For ringtones, music and most of the SFX files are suitable, while for notifications shorter SFX effects are the best choice.
At the time of this writing, Pixabay claims there are over 40,000 music files and over 90,000 sound effects on the site. Most of the MP3s have descriptive titles and tags attached, so there’s a great chance you can find the exact sound type and style you want.
